Pempamsie Hotel and Conference Centre is a 2-star rated facility located at 2nd Ridge in Cape Coast. The hotel is wholly owned by the Civil and Local Government Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) and has been in operation since August 2013. The akan/adinkra symbol associated with the emblem of the hotel means “stitch in readiness." It started as a 60-bed room facility with multiple conference facilities,, but due to increased demand, management expanded it into a well-furnished 150-bed capacity facility comprising chalets, family suites, double/twin rooms, and standard rooms. All rooms are well furnished, and air-conditioned, with flat-screen televisions, high-speed Wi-Fi services, water heaters, and other complimentary services.

The hotel, which has a lush green environment and a very attractive ambiance, including a large parking space, can boast of a well-equipped fitness center, swimming pools, an astroturf for sporting events, a children’s playground, and other outdoor activities for recreational relaxation. Additionally, there is an open poolside and open terrace bar providing an array of drinks for the pleasure of our guests and clients. The hotel also has an elegant restaurant that caters to all with a wide range of continental and local cuisine.

Pempamsie Hotel and Conference Centre is the leading conferencing facility in the Central Region of Ghana and has hosted several local and international sponsored conferences over the years. There are 3 conference rooms with a seating capacity of 300, 200, and 70 respectively, plus four syndicate rooms with varying seating capacities of between 10 and 50 people at a time. The main conference room is also capable of seating 600 people theatre-style and has an installed projection screen to cater to the needs of clients.

The hotel, which is located, off the Cape-Coast-Takoradi-Abidjan international highway, is easily accessible to two (2) world-acclaimed heritage tourist sites, Cape-Coast Castle (1 kilometer away) and Elmina Castle (8 kilometers away). The famous Kakum National Park and Tree Canopy Walkway are also a 30-kilometer drive from the hotel.
